It is their passion to always provide SLOW food. That is, Sustainable, Local, Organic and Wholesome. When they use a word like ‘fresh’ their sourcing their products and using 100% organic and raw panela sugar. They also source their eggs from Devon Meadows at Country Pride, which is one of the few farms that produce 100% of their own feed. When they use a word like ‘local’ they support Felice’s Place Gourmet Meats in Elwood, which is a farm that produces all natural products that are not only free range but also chemical and hormone free.
It is without a doubt that a lot of love goes into Las Chicas food as they make their own chutneys, preserves and muffins fresh every single day. Also, their extensive menu offers a variety of vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and superfood enriched options.
