South Wharf’s Progressive Degustation Dining

Having one course for dinner is so last century. With so many awesome restaurants in Melbourne, degustations—or at least multiple courses—are becoming more popular by the minute. South Wharf, one of Melbourne’s great dining precincts have developed a new form of degustation dining.

A mix between a pub crawl and a fancy feast (and we don’t mean the cat food), their new Progressive Dinner will include a tour through the South Wharf Precinct, with 5 gastronomic stops. It’s been running since April, with one tour per month. The last is coming up on September 22nd, so don’t miss out on this innovative multi-course and multicultural foodie journey!

Guests will enjoy flavourful meals from Akachochin, Bohemian, BangPop, Common Man, Meat Market and Plus 5. That means a little taste from Japan, Spain, Thailand and Australia—with extra flavour favs in the form of champagne, wine and sake!

It’s $119 per person, which includes the tour, five courses and matched wines. Running from 6:30pm until 10:00pm, this ones only open for 18 and overs, sorry kids (but that’s how you know it’s going to be a good time!).
