Piqueos Peruvian Dinner

Melbourne diners can experience the delicious diversity of Peruvian cuisine with a five-course dinner at Piqueos. The dinner, to be held at the North Carlton restaurant on Wednesday July 2, is inspired by a two-week “eating adventure” of Peru, which enabled the Piqueos team to taste the cuisine at the source.

Established by long-time friends Shaun Burke and Dave Mills, with co-owners Paul Goddard and Lisa Prince, Piqueos offers a fusion of authentic Peruvian and Argentinean food in a warm, inviting atmosphere. It is the only Peruvian-Argentinean restaurant in Melbourne. During their trip to Peru in December and January, Shaun, Dave and head chef Blair Williams explored the country, sampling regional flavours in Machu Picchu, Cuzco and Lima.

The five-course Peruvian menu will be served with matching South American wines. Piqueos offers a 100 per cent Argentinean wine list and what is thought to be the biggest pisco offering in Australia.

Diners will pay $85 for the five-course meal and extra for matching wines.
