July 21, 2014 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

For the second year, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, OzHarvest will partner with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) to address the second GFC – the Global Food Crisis, at the upcoming Think.Eat.Save events to be held across the country on Monday, 21 July.

Join us at St Paul’s Court, Federation Square for a free and delicious hot meal made from produce that would have otherwise ended up as landfill.

This year’s Melbourne event will feature a number of volunteers and food industry getting behind the campaign to encourage the public to reduce food waste and raise awareness about the issue.

Some of the nation’s top chefs as well as politicians will gather at events held across Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle to feed members of the public and make a stance against food waste, which is currently costing Australians up to $10 billion each year.

Come and join us in the fight against food waste.
