Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival

February 14, 2014 @ 8:00 am - February 16, 2014 @ 5:00 pm

Join us for a three-day festival of fine wine, delicious food, boutique ciders and locally brewed beers, and enjoy all that the sensational Yarra Valley has to offer at Grape Grazing on 14, 15 and 16 February 2014.

Buy a Grape Grazing weekend pass – which gives you access to over 30 General Admission ‘grazing’ events during the three-day festival.

And then check out a further 30 Special ticketed Events being held at individual venues throughout the festival.  Some you’ll need to book, others you’ll need to buy a ticket in advance.

Choose from a fantastic fun-filled series of events over three days in February in the Yarra Valley region. Will you seek out new wineries you haven’t yet visited? Or revisit some favourites you haven’t been to in years? Book a sunset hot air balloon flight to get your festival off to a great start, then head to Healesville for its Big Street Breakfast, dine in style at our many winery restaurants or enjoy live music al fresco surrounded by picturesque hills and vines – your choices are endless. With so much on offer at the festival, you’ll need to plan your weekend well to ensure you get to as many events as you can – why not make a weekend of it and stay in the region.

There are two ways to enjoy Grape Grazing – with a weekend ‘grazing’ pass or by buying individual Special Event tickets. Grape Grazing weekend passes are $25 for adults (plus booking charges). Children under 12 will be admitted free into General Admission events and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The weekend pass is valid for the three days of the festival. Special events are held at individual venues and are ticketed separately. The weekend pass does not include access to special ticketed events.

Friday February 14, 2014 is THE night for food lovers to celebrate Valentine’s Day – with a choice of venues offering three course dinners with perfectly matched local wines. Or perhaps you’d rather take in a twilight movie in the vineyards?

On Saturday February 15, 2014 – make sure you visit Healesville and join in its Main Street Big Breakfast and then wander on to the Memorial Hall for the Small Producers’ Exhibition – where 19 of the region’s exciting new wave of winemakers will be sharing their wines from 11am – 7pm! Throughout the day, participating wineries and venues will have a great range of offerings, from crepes with cider, to tapas with Tempranillo, a game of petanque, to fabulous live entertainment, feast from a Portuguese Wood Fired BBQ or a sit down degustation dinner!

Sunday February 16, 2014 – roll up your sleeves and join in the annual sauce bottling activity at one winery, or recline and listen to the up and coming opera stars of tomorrow at another. Many of the wineries are selling picnic goodies for you to take and enjoy in their grounds with stunning views of the surrounding hills. The hardest thing about Grape Grazing 2014 will be choosing which of the events to go to!
