With over 100 different craft beers from brewers across Australia and the USA descending upon Ballarat, this year’ Ballarat Beer Festival is set to be the biggest one to date.

Set in regional Victoria, Ballarat will once again be transformed into Beerllarat as crowds of expert brewers, delicious food trucks and exciting Australian musicians embark on the city on Saturday 16th January for the annual Ballarat Beer Festival.

Sample brews from the finest selection of craft beers showcased by passionate local brewers and beer festival favourites including; Coopers Brewery, 7Cent Brewery, Barrow Boys Brewing Company, Australian Beer Co, Feral Brewing Co, Mountain Goat, Pirate Life Brewing, Quiet Deeds and Southern Bay Brewing…just to name a few! Meet the geniuses behind the brews as they share their passion and knowledge and attend free informative education sessions with top beer industry experts.

A cavalcade of food trucks from around the state will be on site ready to provide the energy needed to soak up the festive atmosphere. Entertainment includes a line up of independent artists throughout the day, headlined by legendary Australian band, You Am I.

New to 2016, is The Brewcage, a VIP/Corporate tent including a two course meal.

For those wanting a pre-taste of the festival, the night of Friday January 15 will see chef Daniel Wilson of Melbourne’s Huxtable and Huxtaburger plate up an exquisite four-course degustation feast with matching beers. Come for one night or combine with a visit to Saturday’s Brewcage by purchasing a combo pack, including 10 seats at the Friday Night Degustation and 10 seats in the Brewcage.

Local duo Zeebz vs. Miss Vitula will treat dinner guests to their trademark enchanting sound, creating the perfect atmosphere for a nightly feast.
