Melbourne Tea Fair
If you’ve ever felt lost amongst the coffee lovers in this city, find your way to the first annual Melbourne Tea Fair. Now is your chance to experience all things tea with an opportunity to discover, taste and shop for your favourite brew.
Go on an International Wine Tasting Trail through the different wine varieties from France, Italy and Spain with ReWine’s Chief Wine Buyer Marshall Walter’s in an intimate tasting session at this one-stop wine shop in A Shed. Marshall will provide you with tasting notes and tips on how to select the best wines from the different regions.
The Mooncake Festival is one of the largest events on the Asian calendar and is the place to enjoy free entertainment, authentic cuisines and activities among a stunning display of lanterns, martial arts, dance and Chinese stalls.
The historic Queen Victoria Deli Hall will be opened after hours for this private showcase during Market Week – where you can sip, taste and graze on a mouth-watering collection of specially prepared seasonal bites, plates and drinks showcasing the very best of the Market traders – all to the back drop the art deco surrounds. Experience the Deli Hall like never before and meander to meet makers, delight in new tastes, watch food being prepared and imbibe on local wines and micro brews.
Seasonal Stars with Scott Pickett is where you’ll learn how to select, prepare and cook the very best market produce with Scott Pickett from St Crispin and Estelle Bar & Kitchen, in this FREE one hour cooking demonstration. Scott will be joined by some of his favourite Market traders and will showcase the spring harvest. Includes free recipe cards and tastings.
The Dandenong Market mamas will be taking over The Kitchen as they demonstrate their expertise in authentic Italian cooking. Learn the art of traditional pasta-making, you will not be disappointed. Bellissimo!
Bring your pooch along for a Doggy Day Out at the Dogs of the World Morning Tea. They’ll be treated to a goat’s milk puppychino from Clement Coffee and organic peanut butter dog biscuits from The Pet Grocer.
