Most Melbournian chocoholics, would have at some stage come across local outfit, Sisko Chocolate. The Hawthorn kitchen, led by chocolate entrepreneur Christina Tantsis, has been described as more of a fine chocolate design house, rather than a retailer.
Over the coming weekend, from October 17 to 19, Christina will be throwing a three-day party to celebrate her birthday and will join forces with Michèle Froidevaux, or as most GRAM readers will know her as, Iron Chef Shellie to create a truly unforgettable pop-up. Basing herself out of Sisko’s small batch kitchen for the weekend, Shellie will be baking two of her favourite cakes; the chocolate stout cake and the yogurt berry cake. The collaboration will then see Sisko Chocolate add their artful touch to these already divine creations.
The pop-up will also include an instore sale on the entire Sisko Chocolate retail range. Hooray!
Be sure to either pre-order or visit the studio to grab a bite of these strictly limited edition cakes. And don’t forget to wish Christina “Happy Birthday” while you’re there.
