For many of us, Christmas is all about food – but maybe not about the blood sweat and tears of making your own Christmas feast. So we here at team GRAM thought we’d give you the best Christmas gift of all – a guide to Christmas Day food in Melbourne!
For festive feasting at some of Melbourne’s best restaurants, here are some lovely luncheons and delightful dinners showcasing Melbourne’s gastronomic best. Merry Christmas, bottoms up, cheers, bone apple tea…
Have some splendid views with a side of four courses of feasting! Spanner crab rolls, cured cob, brined poussin and run and vanilla sticky date pudding. Just a little sampler of the splendid festive feast at Eureka 89!
Make a night of it with QT (or just pop by for lunch). A glass of champagne is the prelude to a luxurious three course Christmas lunch at Pascale Bar & Grill, and we really do mean luxurious, with foie gras and truffle puffs, bite-size oyster burgers, fruit de mer platter, and your choice of wood roasted suckling pig, free range turkey, or salt bush spinach pasta. Don’t forget the Christmas pud, the eggnog, and all with a cherry on top—literally, they’re serving bowls of fresh iced cherries to finish.
Don’t expect much to change from the regular Munich Brauhaus menu, but if crispy pork knuckle and apple strudel are your thing, then what better way to spend Christmas lunch! Be prepared for some festive (and kid friendly) activities on the day.
